Personal safety related public education
In order to provide these services the district trains as often as necessary, a minimum of one training exercise each week. The district follows the appropriate NFPA, DPSST and IFSTA standards for specific types of training.
In addition, we provide fee based classes to the public and businesses. A general sign up sheet for these classes are available at the fire station in Siletz. Potential students are contacted for enrollment as classes are scheduled.
Siletz Valley Fire District is fully committed to providing accessible facilities, elements and
channels of communication to all members of the public. As part of this commitment, Siletz Valley Fire District
has a policy of providing an accessible website compatible with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1) and
commercial screen reading software. All features of the website are coded to allow individuals with vision and
other impairments to understand and use the website to the same degree as someone without disabilities. We welcome
feedback and can often resolve issues in a timely manner if they arise.
